Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade (Medium Brown) Eyebrow Swatch
I have owned the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Medium Brown for a while now and wanted to show you the swatches on my eyebrows as i know its difficult to chose the shade of the pomade when ordering online, I went for this shade after lots of research i have dark blonde hair naturally, and wanted an ashy toned brow shade, this eyebrow product can be quite dark or a tiny bit lighter when using a light hand with the brush!
I applied this product with the Anastasia Beverly Hills number 12 large synthetic duo brow brush which gives amazing precision because of how thin the brush is, the brush is perfect for creating the illusion of brow hairs with the product and can give a natural brow or a very full brow depending on your preference! |
I hope this post helped with your search for the perfect brow shade!

The best way to apply foundation on dry skin
As I am a dry skinned girl myself I have decided to tell you the best way I found to apply foundation.
When you have dry skin you tend to have quite flaky skin which can also contribute to your foundation not applying smoothly, so I recommend investing in a gentle scrub which can be used daily or around 3 times a week to keep your skin feeling smooth. If you have already done this step and find you still have flaky skin its okay, the scrub wont vanish the fact you have dry skin.
Make sure you also invest in a good moisturiser this helps your foundation apply to your skin well also.
Finally after your skin is prepared you can apply your foundation, I recommend not using a very full coverage or matte foundation as this clings to your dry patches, go for a dewy finish foundation!
The best way I have found is a sponge I have the Real Techniques Sponge with this sponge you have to dampen it so it doesn't soak in your foundation. When applying your foundation you don't want to rub the skin you want to bounce the product onto your skin. This pats down dry skin and doesn't emphasis it.
I hope my tips help you out!

August favourites&The Pointless book
I have finally decided that blogging is what I love to do and I am dedicating a lot of my spare time to it from now on, as before I have started and given up, but my passion is sharing things that I love with other people, so to kick off my regular blog posts I'm starting with my August favourites:
My love this month has been healthy dewy skin, but light coverage I have been using the 'simple illuminating radiance cream' as a base under my 'bourjois healthy mix serum' the illuminating cream has small glitter particles which reflect light leaving the skin looking healthy! The healthy mix is quite a dewy Finnish and is not drying it doesn't cling to my dry patches. I apply this with my 'real techniques Expert face brush' it just leaves the skin looking flawless!
Do you ever have those days where it's hot and humid and you don't feel like putting a thick body moisturiser on well I've found a perfect solution the 'Vaseline spray on body moisturiser' it's a light watery consistancy which you spray over your skin and rub in, it is so quick and easy!
I have being loving a very fruity body wash this month and have been using the 'body shop mango shower gel' I love the fruity scent it leaves me feeling fresh after a long day in the sun.
Are you the only one who is pale and looks like your skins never seen the sun well the 'NYC sunny bronzer' has saved my face from looking so flat and pale, I just apply this around the sides of my face and It makes me look more awake and healthy!
This may not be relevant to the august favourites but I've just received this book 'the pointless book' and already from flicking through the pages I'm in love. I'm so proud of Alfie on creating a book and I can't wait to start it!

L'oreal lumi magique primer review
This primer is a very dewy base and can make a matte foundation have at least a glow to it! The consistency is quite runny and not thick it blends out into a metallic base! Easy to apply makeup on top of it! This makes your skin very dewy so if you have oily skin I wouldn't recommend it unless you like a dewy Finnish:-) I highly recommend this as it is an apparent "dupe" for the MAC strobe cream, but I cannot comment on that as I don't own that product.

Models own nail polish review
I resently purchased 5 models own nails polishes. (Left to right) colours: sundress, naked glow, magpie, beach bag, pink punch. I got quite a colour range, these nail varnishes are quite long lasting especially with a good top coat! The hyper gel ones leave a very glossy Finnish almost as they have been done professionally! The speckled agg one is also amazing it is very different to any polish I have tried and leaves an amazing opaque Finnish! The neon one is also amazing but only to certain peoples taste. And last but not least the one what brings out your tan(second from last in picture) amazing if you have a light tan as it makes it stand out more:-)
I hope this helps you decide which models own nail polishes you'll be purchasing!

MAC studio fix fluid review
i recommend getting a tester before purchasing the full size as the only downside to this product is that it broke me out. But i'm sure that wont be the case for everyone.
thank-you for reading my first blog post and i hope you stick around for more reviews in the future. <3
